Tarek Fatah tweeted a video showing the conversion of Bangladeshi woman from Hinduism to Islam with a caption "This no way to convert someone to Islam. In fact, there is no reason whatsoever for anyone to force their religion on to others. I wish I could rescue this Bangladeshi woman."

The video is viral on Facebook as well. You can see all such posts here.
We found that the video was also shared by a verified Twitter handle @haivri with the claim that a Bangladeshi woman was abducted, tied and forced to convert to Islam under threat of death by Knife.
To @haivri's tweet, a user replied that the video is an exorcism video and the woman in the video is a Muslim who was supposedly attacked by a Hindu Jinn. He also shared the full video.

We also found that a Bangladeshi YouTube channel EM Multimedia had posted the longer version of the video on January 19, 2019, with a Bengali caption, "This is the best video of exorcism. See how a Hindu Jinn is converted to Islam".
Another YouTube channel RH Bangla TV also posted this video with a caption "In the name of exorcism, village women are sexually exploited".
In the video, the Exorcist is seen shoving a knife into a bucket of sand and the woman cries in pain saying, "Huzoor I will leave this place forever, even the earth" in Bengali.
The practice of exorcism is very common in Bangladesh and Pakistan. Here is one such video showing exorcism to evict Hindu Jinn in Pakistan.
This was earlier fact-checked by India Today as well.
The viral video is an exorcism video and the woman in the video is a Muslim who was supposedly attacked by a Hindu Jinn. The video has no relation to religious conversions in Bangladesh.
Even though the video is not related to religious conversion, the plight of minorities is well documented in Bangladesh and Pakistan. The Hindu population in Bangladesh decreased from 22% in 1951 to 9.5% in 2011. You can read our detailed analysis here.
